I dont see how it has to do with Manners. Its just a habit. Nd as a person i dont do it. The moment am eating with some1 nd he/she dips bread inside the tea then i go just leave am for the person. Who even still shares a cup of tea this days sef?

The standard way to take tea and bread is to bite off the bread, chew it and sip the tea from the teacup. When i take tea outside home i strictly follow this procedure but when i am at home i soak my bread and biscuit inside the tea.

My mama(who was a pure african) told me it was bad habit when growing up ,now I say she was right because myself find it annoying and disgusting .I am not forcing anybody to do it, if you find it cool then keep on doing it.

Its high time we stop this motherfuckers way of doing somethings in Nigeria....must we always do it the western way? If to dip bread into tea is what suit u,so be it ,if its to dip tea into bread that suit u. so also be it Jare...must we always follow their western ways of doing some tin that need our own discretion ?

If I'm served tea and bread in the presence of queen of England, I will break d bread into bits and pour them inside d tea; soaked, that's how I enjoy it.
