@Joseph,NNPC pays #130k basic salary for entry level I.e SS6 plus allowance.Please why do you want to know? Do you expect an appointment with them soon? Someone told me that they've started posting appointment letters of those that passed the interview. Please let us know if you've collected yours.

Someone also told me that letters were prepared for people who didnt write tests and interview. How possible is this?

I thought good CV writing techniques did the magic for them. Lol. Until Nigerian youths learn the hard fact that their country has been mortgaged and shared up by the 'Ogas at the top' the way Africa was shared at the Berlin conference,issues like this would keep coming up.

According to the info I heard, the list is from those that did the 2011 interview. That was the only interview I attended. Dont know of any other test and interview thereafter. But a close source reveals that alot of the letters sent out are for those that have huge connections and those that have 'Ogas at the top'.

I'll love to hear from @moonert to get her own version too.

@joseph1013, thanks for your responses so far, but are you aware that some candidates from 2010 recruitment exercise were offered appointment letter in July Last year and they are almost through with their training? And it could be inferred from your write-ups that you are not aware that some candidates from this same 2010 recruitment exercise were invited in Nov/Dec for another round of interviews by NNPC Retail Ltd and they now await their appointment letters. Please when did you hear the letters were sent out? Thanks man!

Hi @ Joseph 1013, you cant afford to keep quiet about this o. A lot of guys are waiting for the supposed second batch of this recruitment ( some people got their appointments in July 2012) and others were called for interview in november by NNPC retail. Still there are others who say they are sure there is a second batch coming, is this the second batch of the 2010 recruitment?

Sorry guys, I also dont have all the answers and have to get back to my source for clarifications . That's why it takes a while for me to respond sometimes.

From what the guy said, the letters sent out in July was supposed to be the only list and because some names of certain 'Ogas at the Top' candidates were not amongst those, they pushed for another list to be out. So they had to schedule some other test and another interview (guess that was the test and interview someone talked about here).

But he said something important: That you passed the test and interview does not mean you'll be called. The exercises were just a way to make a case for another list to be out. There is a lot of undercover runs at the moment. They want their guys to be called and use the exercises as the cover.

However, a very small percentage is reserved for those who were exceptional in the exercises. These are the people mixed with the nnpc chief candidates.

This is as far as I know. Any other question, I will have to ask my guy.

See, there is nothing contradictory anywhere. Alot of the letters being sent out are for the 'chosen candidates'. Dont get confused, buddy. Cheers!
