Folks I was surprised to see a bill that I should pay N8,000 for radio and Tv license.The bill is from Ifako IJaiye LGA. I just want to know if anyone has been paying for this. As far as I am concern I have not heard of this before and moreover what license are they refering toM My house is a residential house and I don't own any broadcast station.Pls I need pple to share their experience if any. |

Radio/Tv licences fall under the jurisdiction of LGA and there was a time way back in the 70s and 80s when they collected them. If it applies to residences I can't say but I do know that business premises pay for such. Make enquiries in ur area to see who else got it. U know our govts, they wake up one day, remember a law, dust it up and swing into overdrive esp. When it is a revenue generating law. |

Is the LGA now providing TV/Radio services since they want to collect this tax? How do those people reason sef? |
