EMMAUGOH: na u know oooo ooooo airtel is more confidential
Yes, that's because Airtel root their BIS via their own server (internet.Zain.ng.com), why Glo, MTN and Etisalat root their BIS via RIM server (blackberry.net). But, for people that subscribed before MTN BIS stopped working on Android, you expect us to just forget like that?

Here is the step by step guide of what to do
to connect to 3g or edge if it disappears when you put blackberry.net as your apn.
1. Dial *#*#info#*#* on ur phone. I.e *#*#
4636#*#* This will bring out some hidden
android menu 2. Goto the first item: phone
information 3. Scroll down to the bottom. At
the bottom u will see a setting like "toggle
dns check:0.0.0.0 not allowed" 4. Just tap
the toggle dns ones to allowed I.e after u
tap it ones it will become "toggle dns check:
0.0.0.0 allowed" Press back and exit...the
edge or 3g symbol should appear
immediately on ur phone, if u have already
set ur access point to blackberry.net. if it
doesn't immediately, just toggle airplane
mode on and off. And it will appear. Then u
can go ahead and use any trick whatsoever
(droidvpn/tweakware) to browse with mtn
bis on android. N/b U don't need ur phone
to be rooted to do this. It works on all
android phones.
I got this from a site and thought it would
be a good idea to share.

I av sent u all d mail... buh for others, dis is d content of d mail...

Step 1: Ur android fone doesnt needs to be rooted if it runs on Android 4 and above.

Step 2:::

1. Visit Google play store and download tun.koinstaller

2. Run/Install the tun.ko.  it mite tell u "tun module is not loaded" , just ignore and move to d next step below...

Once you are done with the above, complete the steps below.

Using Droid Vpn

1. Download the app "DroidVPN" from Google play store on ur phone, install it,

2. Register a username on droid vpn app or on their website http://droidvpn.com/signup.php

3. Activate your droid vpn account.

4. Go to the droid vpn settings, click on connection protocol and select UDP; scroll down to Udp port and type 500. Dats all

5. Make sure your Mtn blackberry plan is active with blackberry.net as the apn

6. Open Droid VPN and connect. It will give you two servers you can use for free.

7. Once it’s connected, open your browser or any internet enabled app and connect.

NB: You can't use more than 100mb per day worth of data on droid vpn because you are a free registered user.

Note: I also av anoda process i use different from d whole droid vpn/tu  ko, buh i aint givin it out totally free, 1k. cos its not yet blown to d wind, buh dont worry, dis one av given u will work well for u, i only use ma other method as a back-up when av exhausted ma 100megabytes.

Takie and av a great day.
