The wont become extinct in Southern Africa (Namibia, Tanzania/Kenya, South Africa, etc.)

Its only the West African regions. THe North African Barbary Lion, the largest Lion Species in the world, the very same lions that the Romans used to feed xtians to in their arenas, are today almost extinct, if not completely extinct in the wild.
