i don't no where to post this so am sorry for using here.

I tried 2withdraw some money 4rm zenith bank 3 weeks ago using a gtb and ecobank atm respectively. as i was making d withdrawal, there was power outage n ma atm cards where ejected immediately but i wasn't paid. i waited 4d machine 2cm up n inserted d cards again only 2notice i hv been deducted d exert amount i tried withdrawing. i left n went home thinking d money will be refunded after 24hrs which didn't happen. i went 2 gtb d next day to lay a complain .bt didn't go 2ecobank purposely just 2no if ma money Wud be refunded automatically. i laid ma complain with d bank official n was asked 2fill a form which i did, den i was told 2return after1week if i dnt get an alert. after d 1week elapsed, i went back only 2be told they( gtb) have not gotten any message from zenith dat i should return after 1week which i did again but got same msg. it's over 3weeks now n stil ma money hasn't been refunded in both banks(gtb n ecobank).

I need advice 4rm all nairaland bankers to advice me on what 2do. ma questions are:
Is it possible dat my money mit not be refunded?
what happens if u don't lay any complain with your bank, does dat mean u money won't be refunded automatically?
has any1 had similar encounter?

waiting 4ur responses, thanx

You were not cheated, you used your debit cards on another Bank's machine. it is known as NOT-ON-US to the Bank that has the card. The Banks willhave to settle before you get your money back. If you did not complain and ATM did not reverse the transaction, your money will be kept with the Bank until you complain
