pls guy dont be too quick in passing the outcome of your analyis withouth proper scrutuny, in econ dept they usually admit 75 to 80 cand on merit and this young guy stand a very tall order to match up first 40 cand why would you say he has no chance when we allready see him on merit list.

guy you stand a good chance but the problem is just that uniport do admit very few cand on medc and surg may be around 20 cand in merit list

guys this is a breakdown of how unipor is going to do their admission this year ......your jamb score + pume divide by 8 mulyiply by 100 your average will emerge but take note that your post jamb score must meet up with the require average of every dept before it can be added......................dept of sociology will admit on merit 70 to 75 cand ,dept of econs 75 to 80; dept of polt sci 75 to 80; dept of civil engr 30 to35, dept of acc 80 to 85 ,dept of english 30 to 35 thearter art 80 to 90 ; linguistic 80 to 85 do your calculation to know if you fall within this range of merit list am still going to post more

I heard 2nd choice candidate's name only comes out in the supplementary list and not merit, how can that be? when merit should be those that meet up with school cut off marks

Am fine, amd thanks for asking. Am definitely nt enjoying d strike atall cos its difficult 4 me to understand if its beneficial to us students wit our slow accademic calender. Otokx hope u get my point 2 .

Last year merit stat for some depts are as follows Economics admitted 118 people, English 45, History 46, Chemical engr 25, civil engr 25, env engr 6, elect/elect 25, mech 25, gas 17.

Pls guys I'm a second choice aspirant from Edo State going for petroleum engin and I had 225 in jamb and 192 in the post ume exercise. So pls what are my chances of being admitted? I knw it's low though.

182 in jamb,208 in pume..education accounting,am jst worried any hope?
