Yes, the rule has been there for years now, but it became necessary in the last 2 years when NYSC insists that there can be no service without JAMB admission letter.

The university is still trying to reach out to JAMB to resolve all pending backlog.

Please i hate it when lies are propagated, you guys were well informed especially at your orientation, that this policy has not been implemented is a different case entirely.

This new set of incoming basic students may still claim next year that they were not informed even when its clearly stated in the advert. Imagine somebody still coming to ask here if it is a must for them to select UNIPORT as a choice in the 2015 JAMB.

If you like do basic and select UNIBEN as your choice in JAMB when time reach, hand will touch you.

Uniport is even beta cos I no 4 sure dat do genuinely admit,atleast I hav several friendz nd relativez(e.g ma blood broda) hu made it in,without payin a single kobo 2 anyone or by havin a God fada dia.

.....sorry 2 offend u bt d fact is there was no orientation of any sort during our set....d director only came one certain day 2 tell us 2 ensure we made uniport our choice of university in jamb....nothing was said abt d cutoff..

now you are really making me very angry because orientation is carried our annually for basic students were you are introduced to the university system, the venue is usually the convocation Arena and speakers include, A representative of the Vice - Chancellor, Director Academics, University Librarian, Director Health Services, Admissions Officer, Director ICTC, etc

its sad to say but from experience, students just lie, they just wake up in the morning and start telling lies, chai, this should be the final straw that breaks the camels back.
