Why The Discrimination Against The Humanities/social Sciences In Scholarship? by Nobody: 10:51am On May 06, 2013
I've always wondered, right from my undergraduate days, why undergraduates and prospective postgraduates applicants of the Humanities/Social Sciences are being discriminated against in scholarship. Each time a scholarship is being announced by even government, they don't fail to add that only applicants of the Sciences are eligible. While when this trend is seen being done by petrol-chemical companies is understood, I wonder why government that is supposed to act as a father should be discriminating against his children (citizens).
