I left the first bulb on for 5 minutes so that it will gather a fairly high amount of temperature, which will be induced by the heat from the light it is producing, while I just turned on the second bulb and entered the room immediately, this will make the second bulb cooler than the first one, while the third one is totally off. So to determine which switch controls the two lighted bulbs, I'll have to feel them with my hand to determine which of the two is hotter, the third bulb which is switched off will definitely belong to the switch which is turned off.

you are right. About the second bulb, there is no need of it being cooler so far it will be on. The first one will be the only one you will feel which is hot or warm whichever case.
