Hello Nlers, I had a fair share of some losses in month passed. Acquired an automobile for close to a million bucks a few months ago and now its being written off with a knocked engine dat can't be purchased in Nig. As if dat wasn't enuf another suffered a crash dat cost over. 100 grand to fix. Dis is all unexpected loss/ expenses in less than 3months. House let's have ur own experiences n how U̶̲̥̅̊ fared n recovered. For me its been tough n I'm still recovering. |

Dat was an investment and money U̶̲̥̅̊ could afford to stash aside. Plus I'm sure U̶̲̥̅̊ knew the risks inherent. I'm talking unforseen expenditure. |

I bought a used volkswagen bus in December for transport biz. I spent over 400k on d bus. Drivers gave me so much headache then d bus kept breaking down. Now it's grounded. I'm still trying to recover from d loss. LESSON: DONT VENTURE INTO A BIZ U KNOW NOTHING ABOUT OR A BIZ U WON'T BE PERSONALLY INVOLVED IN. |

YOLLANDA: I lost over 15 million in NSE in 2011. Very depressing and heartbreaking. I can feel your pains. It really hurts. I wish you total recovery of all lost funds. The stock market burst was indeed a horror movie for those that lost substantial funds. I made some losses in the NSE as well but not more than one million. I also made a loss (just after the stock market burst) of over seven million naira in a failed business enterprise. Sometimes when I think about the losses, I often wish I had "deliberately" gone to the casino with the money instead...... really sad and painful. However losses made can be regained. It is well. |
