Hi. just curious about this. Is it even legal for someone who is not a trained doctor to own a hospital, staff it with trained doctors and make money from treatments and the like? What would be the obstacles? Is there any upside to this? |

only doctors own hospitals.... but nurses and community health workers can own clinics, maternities, nursing homes, basic health centres, etc |

You can build a hospital, and then hire a management team (doctors, nurses etc) to operate it, while you serve as the Executive Director. Dangote is building a world class 1000bed capacity hospital, he's not a doctor. Please anyone with info about starting a hospital should share. |
