Deliverance is a controversial issue. Even Jesus Christ was accused of driving out demons by the power of Beelzebub, the "prince of demons" (Mark 12:24) when he commanded unclean spirits to get out.

After attending so many deliverance services, a friend wanted to know if it is biblical for Christians (born-again) to be delivered. In other words, can Christians be possessed? Why do some churches focus so much on deliverance?
