RIM making BBM available for android and ios phones, don't you think there is a catch?
If you ask me, i would say there is a hidden agenda to the release, Now android apps to be made available to BB10!!!

google didnt own most of the applications in their store they only own the Os. Most of the applications and games were created by individuals and companies. Only these companies and individuals can determing which application stays on one operating system or the other. Like whatsapp, yim etc. Unlike BBM that was owned RIM

OP, You've just shown how much you know nothing on how the app market works. FYI, google doesn't/didn't create 95% of the apps on the Play Store. These apps are created by individuals and companies. It is the app developers that decide which app store they want to make their apps available to. BBM doesnt have the power to suddenly make the app developers, make their apps available to Blackberry. Dont be so happy BB Fanboy.

smh for u all, is it that you are so biased that you can't think rationally read the details from the link i dropped well. Infact the company that has the solution already exist and working fine but it's not yet official .
Besides some android apps are already working fine on my Z10 and not even the manufacturer's consent needed for that .
Let's see how RIM does that sha, since my jelly beans abi na rice will be upgraded to 4.1 in the next OS 10.2 ...till then i rest my case .

That writer is just as deluded you are. Again, for an app to be available on any device, the app developer must make a version that would work for that paticular OS. BBM 'CAN NOT and WILL NOT' influence the choice of an app developer to make an app for the BB OS.

dude the latest BB10 OS all run android apps, just sideload them...no need for the owner's permission or special tweak

You can only sideload android apps on BB10 that are not on the app store. 700, 000 Android apps on the BB10 is still a distant dream.
