Wats d price and can I see d pictures of dis area

I just can't see the point in placing an advert of a land or properties for sale on the property forum of Nairaland
without stating the price of what you want to sell. I think anyone selling something will have a vague idea of how much
he wants for it. The idea of calling for a price is preposterous. As a matter of fact, providing the information of the
price will afford the opportunity for those looking for something within the range of the advertised price rather than
asking people to call for price. Also, you should endeavour to provide photographs as much as possible to facilitate
intrest in what you want to sell.

Esoorita made brilliant point. I just don't understand this idea of placing an advert without the details it's a waste of everyone time including the agent. Pictures and prices it's a must to generate interest from prospective buyers.

You have a point here but from experiences, most PROSPECTIVE BUYERS don't call to negociate the prices of properties for sale even when they know its the market value.

When you call and we talk, firstly it shows you are interested;

--Its gives room to know better about the property & environs (i.e if the buyer has NO idea);

--Its also an opportunity for a buyer who knows the location of such properties to give an offer which would be related to the vendor/seller for consideration.

--It also an opportunity for WISE options to be given to the buyer if his/her budget can not get such a property.

With due respect, from what you have written, it just confirms my fear about doing business with people that have your view point, apologies but i have always found them as time wasters, please read what you have written again and put yourself in the shoes of a serious buyer, with little a no time to mess around, do you actually think they would be prepared to ring i.e 10 people without prices or 10 with prices stated. Please be objective with yourself

I'm still not convinced that it is logical to place an advert without expressly stating the price of whatever you are selling. I don't know if it's Nigerian's factor that's applied here because I took notice that the same thing happens on the auto section whereby vehicles are advertised without the price, mileage or photographs and yet they expect potential buyers to call. You have to provide salient informations that will trigger the enthusiasm of the audience you are targeting. You even sort of classified me as a time waster, I'm afraid you are out of your depth to think that way. You probably would need to have a crystal ball to identify who is a time waster or who is serious to buy whatever you are advertising for sale.
