Joining all the interminable eulogies both fom avowed foes and friends, fellow thespians and the ne'er do well...Chinua's death, though said at some quarters to be at its prime considering the average life span of nigerians, was just heart-breaking. He waited to no end to see a country worthy of the name. Be rest assured, sir, son of Achebe, we would never leave that which you stood foor:pricking those who think what one picks from the teeth assuage hunger, not knowing it makes one greedy till he/she meets the waterloo.You have shed blood as your strength allows. |
