The remains of professor Chinualumogo Albert Achebe was laid @ Alex Ekwueme's Square in Awka today... the Square was filled to the brim with people eager to pay their last respects to the literary Giant. i myself had to skip Maths and Physics lectures just to pay my last respects to the man whose books captivated me since childhood. R.I.P the proof.

1st Traditional rulers
2nd academic staffs
minor politicians( house of rep members,commisioners e.t.c)
3rd big politicians (Ex ministers, senators and Anambra deputy Gov.)
finally the Gov and Senator Ngige walked in... there were cheers for Ngige... while Peter was nearly booed( i didnt say he was booed ooo, i said 'NEARL').

finally the prof was brought in... there was absolute tranquity when the body was driven in

after everything... the body started another journey this time enroute to it's final resting place Ogidi.
