SportsRe: Can Nigeria Find An "okocha" And "yekini" Every Year? by 12large: 5:58am On Jul 01, 2010
well oba martins is good as yekini if not better, just look at yekini record. in a midfield that consists of 2 great passer of the ball okocha and oliseh, and 2 good wingers finidi and amunike yekini scored 37 goals in 70 games 1 in 2games, while martins midfield is filled with defensive midfilders, and he has scored 17 in 31 also 1 in 2 games. so i don't think nigeria lacks yekini, because martins is good as him. for okocha in modern football righ now many countries are lacking a talent like okocha, but they are now using playmakers as tranquerester the snenider role, and we have rabiu ibrahim he may not be skillful and dribbles like okocha, but with the right development he would achieve bigger than jj
SportsRe: Jonathan Bans Nigeria From International Football For Two Years by 12large: 4:39pm On Jun 30, 2010
why are you guys making it seem like if sani lulu is a killer, i can bet anybody this current nff has been one of its best, its main problem is that they always hire wrong coaches, but that is not enough to ban us. rydym we ban our self only from nations cup in 1996 but can ban us for 1998, now we are banning ourself totally from international football do you know how many years fifa might ban us
SportsRe: Jonathan Bans Nigeria From International Football For Two Years by 12large: 4:11pm On Jun 30, 2010
yeye president, the jonathan guy is acting like an hausa man, he does not know that if he bans us for 2years fifa would ban us for more 2years meaning that we would automatically be out of worldcup 2014 and everybody in nigeria knows that another golden generation is coming

SportsRe: Should Coaches Beware Of Osaze ? by 12large: 2:15pm On Jun 29, 2010
he was also our best in nations cup 2010
SportsRe: Should Coaches Beware Of Osaze ? by 12large: 11:03am On Jun 29, 2010
well i cannot blame osaze, back in 2006 he was just a small boy on the team, but did he complain no he worked hard and took over from john utaka. so from 2008 to 2009 he was nigeria best player by a mile he played well in all the games in qualifing, he was thinking about this worldcup very well only for an absolutely useless mallam to take his position, now that is trouble because the coach started to convert him to different position, even against argi when he came on he was very good but he should have passed the ball to martins. by the second game he was played as a support striker. am dissapointed with nigerians. i mean whats the point of playing keita on right wing just tell osaze to do it he cann defend also he did it against france in 2009. osaze deserves to talk because he was nigeria best performer in 2009
SportsRe: Lukman Haruna Vs Mikel Obi, Who Is Better? by 12large: 10:10am On Jun 29, 2010
abeg haruna is better than mikel, how can haruna do something big when his playing too defensive, he was attacking and defending and we know he cannot defend. had it been that yeye coach had put keita and etuhu in defensive midfield and let haruna attack he would have done something bigger. mikel is still useless he is about to play his 5th season and he still has no goals or shot on target

abeg let this useless rubbish stupid player stay till 2018, is too late to make kanu quit he should have done that since 2004 but he wanted to stay. the guy to me has been totally absolutely useless from 2004 to 2010 and if he likes let him stay till 2018 i don't know why nigerians are acting like they are suprised. the average igbo man would rather a thief kill him than take his money

We also have to follow closely the development of -Daniel Adejo(Reggina, Italy), Lukman Haruna (Monaco, France), John Obi Mikel (Chelsea,England), Harmony Ikande (AC Milan, Italy), Rabiu Ibrahim (Sporting Lisboa,Portugal), Victor Obinna (Málaga, Spain), Uwa Elderson Echiejile (Braga,Portugal),Olufemi Adebayo(Boulogne) Dele Adeleye (Metalurh, Ukraine), Ideye Brown (Sochaux,France),Chinedu Obasi (Hoffenheim, Germany), Victor Anichebe (Everton, England) and Sone Aluko (Aberdeen, Scotland). These players are still relevant in the new look Super Eagles to be formed after the World Cup.

Right now,Nigeria should start preparing for the Olympic Games in London. The Olympic team will form the nucleus of the 2014 World Cup squad.

Nigeria could have done well at the on-going World Cup but the Eagles did not prepare well for the tourney.Nigeria is better than Uruguay,Ghana,Mexico,South Korea and the USA,player for player. But the Eagles' were too defensive.

Lagerback was afraid to play with more aggressive tactics. If we have players with great offensive talents, there is no reason why we should use defensive tactics.

There was not team-work at all. The Eagles' were a set of individuals players, and not a football team. The preparations for the tourney were also improvised and the team displayed this during the World Cup.

We all know that in a national team there is little time to work with “foreign” players. There are no excuses because Lagerback had enough time to work with the home based players and lecture them on team-work, tactics, defensive and offensive movements.

Lagerback chose only foreign based players. These players were not hungry for victory. They were also very poor in defense.Enyeama saved the Nigerian team. They would have conceded more goals at the World Cup.

foreign coach is not the answer, the first nigeria player that they know is yakubu aiyebenni and they would build the team around him, when they fail excuse is that they dont know the players very well. but a nigeria that have been following the team since 2006 would drop the old players and bring good new players, they would also be ready to watch local league in a dirty circumstance.
SportsRe: Nff, Lagerback And Eagles Failure by 12large: 5:47pm On Jun 27, 2010
exactly this is what would happen if we retain lars, he would tell us that he would find new players, only for him to call up yakubu, yobo again in september, by then it would be too late because we have already signed him on a 4year contract.
SportsRe: Largerback Is Offered A Four-yeal Deal by 12large: 9:26pm On Jun 26, 2010
if we keep lars, we should be ready for him to call up the likes of yak, yobo, etuhu again in september for that reason alone he should not even be given a 2days contract

abeg shut amodu was also given free hand, lagerback was also given free hand. please don't get anything twisted this nff bunch have been far more organzied than the won in the 1990s, from 2007 to 2010 i have never heard of match bonuses not paid, infact they even pay this current super eagles more. 1990s nff was disorganized as hell na them give us bad name
SportsRe: Or Maybe Lagerback Played Yakubu In All 3 Matches To Expose How Useless He Is: by 12large: 7:00am On Jun 26, 2010
abeg lagerback is a goat, thats why we don't need to keep him any longer, because he would still call up fat yak in august if we rehire him useless coach

SportsRe: Did Lars Lagerback Did Well Or Poor by 12large(op): 9:55am On Jun 25, 2010
he did not play a lone strikers he played 2strikers, and what makes you think that martins cannot play that role. omar22 i hope that your not in anyway trying to defend lars decision to build his team around yak because your wrong. i would rather play obinna, martins, uche, obasi, osaze even that old fool kanu before i consider yak
SportsRe: I Like Largerback For This Statement by 12large: 9:52am On Jun 25, 2010
who is fooled by the rubbish statement, before is it my father that you would blame, kai imagine paying this cow 300million naira for him to humiliate us kai 300million that would feed me from now till ever just for a stupid ass redneck to even do worse than amodu
SportsRe: Sacking Amodu Was A Mistake - Odemwingie by 12large(op): 9:32am On Jun 25, 2010
lagerback is the big let down and not osaze, why get the job if your not going to know the players, you just cannot bench your best player and not get slack for it, osaze was our best player from 2009 to 2010 only for lars to start playing him in the wrong position. and for you omar22 i hope your not in any way defending lars playing keita at right wing, there is absolutely no excuse even against colombia he was totally useless in that position he never played any good game in that position, he is not good enough to clean osaze boots, and there is no way on earth that a real nigerian would put a stupid mallam keita in right wing ahead of osaze absolutely no reason
