Pat Robertson is known for making statements that sometimes get him into trouble.  The televangelist’s most recent controversy involves remarks he made about the tornado victims in Oklahoma. According to Robertson, the victims died because they didn’t spend enough time praying.

He says that Jesus would have saved the people if they’d been praying instead of doing whatever they were doing at the time. Considering that they live in the Bible belt, we assume that they were doing quite a bit of praying every day.

“If enough people were praying [God] would’ve intervened, you could pray, Jesus stilled the storm, you can still storms,” Robertson said on the show.

“Why did you build houses where tornadoes were apt to happen?” he asked.

He was also the one who said Haitians were hit by the tornado because they made a deal with the devil.

“Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it,” he said. ”They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III, or whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, we will serve you if you’ll get us free from the French. True story. And so, the devil said, okay it’s a deal.”

He is not wrong, prayer can prevent anything and guarantee safety. If you must dwell in climatic volatile areas. You must handle nature by prayer of faith. If you don't have such faith simply keep away from such zone. Jesus fasted in the desert in the midst of lions ,reptiles and scorpion. He had to tame them by faith.

Mark 1:13
And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts. . . . ..

Good one. I don't know why people like to create unnecessary controversy around virtually everything Pat Robertson says these days.

if God created the world, he created the fault lines for a purpose which we dont understand.
Any country or person that lives alongside the line is prone to eathquake.
