Willgates: Not surprised! That's about all that useless region[north] can offer nigeria! The world biggest leprosy settlement is in India followed closely by the leprosy settlements in Uzuakoli, Oji River and Itu and Uburu all in eastern Nigeria. The East has offered more lepers to the country than ANY OTHER REGION. 8 Likes |

Mycobacterium leprae and mycobacterium tuberculosis. Two dangerous Acid fast bacilli. The former causes leprosy while the later, tuberculosis They are curable though. Early detection is the key. If you have been coughing persistently for 3 weeks, then its time to see your doctor cos it MIGHT be tuberculosis |

Yomieluv: if that's the case, they should all be killed then, to prevent transmission of the deadly diseasesKill children because they were affected leprosy? You sound like a cold blooded killer. If you had meant to give a reasonable suggestion, I expected you to suggest that those affected be quarantined not to be killed. I'll suggest you keep quiet if you have nothing meaningful to say. |
