Kay_man:ya right man! During my time, we were using both NOEC(nigerian oxford elementary course) and NPE(nigeria primary education) together in my school. Macmillan came after them towards late 90s. Remember the bird with 3 babies in NOEC? Remembering my lady bird Peter and Jane! |

I attended Reedemer nur/pri school karu abuja. I remember reading the whole macmillan book in each class just for the stories. Remember wearing "computer socks" with the rubber sandals, playing " catcher", wearing those "rubber rings" on my arm, matching to our classes after assembly, competing to see the first person to finish copying the note on the board, etc. Those days we had nothing to worry about...just go to school, do well and leave the rest to your parents. Oh yeah i also miss the buscuits with funky names....biscao, okon or something like that, those "chin gum"....damn i miss those days |

Do you still remember the 'shopping corner' we had in elementary school with the empty boxes of cornflakes, tins of milk, awesome, tin tomatoes etc?. |
