I started watching this new show called "The Philanthropist". Omo i was so mad!! u shud have seen how they nonsensed Nigeria!! I actually started a thread on here about it: "Why the hell does Nbc think they can silence nigerians?" After they startd deleting comments of nigerians who were taking them up on their research for the show. The "nigerians" in the show were south african! There was a massive hurricane! NaijaP: i saw that too!! i know they can't afford to be terribly accurate but come on! nigeria is neither that horrible nor gorgeous. there's no beautiful women in bikinis rubbing each other and some of the scenery was obviously south african and you certainly won't have to walk a jungle and get bitten by serpents to get from A to B. and I thought the whole crossing 7 seas and mountains to rescue the poor villagers was a bit unnecessary, he could just have thrown loads of money at it like every normal person, he's no good to anybody dead anyways i hope the show dies a horrible "canceled after three episodes" kind of death. . . but that's just d nigerian in me its only 1 episode so i guess its alright, and its got good intentions I guess. so maybe its not too bad |

mohawkchic: K-Ville was cancelled pretty quickly as far as I remember, I don't think it even had a full season (partly because everything was cut because of the writers strike and also partly because no one really cared too much about it when it was on). I only watched the 1st 2 episodes because I had just moved to New Orleans at the time and it's about law enforcement in N.O. and everyone was excited because they were shooting it here. It's really nothing special, I mean it's not offensively bad, it's just there. There are many far superior detective shows out already and setting the show in New Orleans as shady and interesting a city as it is, cannot salvage what is basically mediocre. |

Watched the pilot of Caprica ~ not bad. I'm not a sci fi show person, but atleast it's not flying spaceship and all that. Hmmm a lil heavy on the religion influence though |

Atia is diabolical. . . .She had to hire a prostitute for her own so he could penetrate.  Vorenus got played by his own wife(i pity the dude). Pullo, Octavian, Caesar, Servilia are ma favourites. I will watch Rome's season 2 before jumping to 6 feet under(let's hope it lives up to ma expectation). |
