The Founder of Oodua People’s Congress, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, has called for the scrapping of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.

Also civil rights activist, Bamidele Aturu while also calling for the disbandment of the NGF, described it as an ” immoral assembly”

Fasehun said the NGF lacked any democratic, nationalistic or progressive value.

In a statement on Tuesday to mark Nigeria’s Democracy Day on Wednesday, Fasehun said a lot of injustice was being done to the memories of the country’s democracy matyrs.

He said several steps being taken by politicians do not give befitting remembrance to democracy matyrs such as Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola and Major General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua.
