Tosyn Oseni: And here is your marking scheme sir.
Tosyn Oseni: And here is your marking scheme sir.

So I heard our darling president dared the opposition to prepare a marking scheme for his transformation agenda so far at mid term. The ACN has since said there is no need for a marking scheme before we know that this government has failed Nigerians but I think it will be unfair to the president to conclude he has failed without seeing his marking scheme. He needs to know on what basis he is described as a failure at midterm assessment, so I have prepared not only a short marking scheme but also grades for the president.

Marking Scheme:

Student shall be graded on 5 key aspects that influence the living standard of citizens.  Each Aspect shall carry 20 points to make 100 points in total. The examiner shall then give a bonus of 10 point to the student.

The key aspects to be graded include:

1)      Economy

2)      Security

3)      Power

4)      Infrastructure

5)      Youth development

GRADES & COMMENT:

1)      Economy : 5 points

Considering the failed standard of living of the average Nigerian under this your not so able government and your failure to respond appropriately to a whopping $67billion question, I would have loved to score a zero here but my hands are tied as your imported world bank/IMF cheat has succeeded in getting you some favorable rank in world economies in the name of Macro- economic and GDP growth, I have no other choice but to give you a whooping 5points out of 20 here.

2)      Security :  -5 points

Needless to explain anything here as even a stranger to Nigeria on first visit will feel very insecure upon arrival as insecurity is written everywhere in the country and is fast becoming a way of life. Never has anyone in this level of leadership scored as low as this in security. Under your close watch, security is just an impossible task. Nigerians are now killed in hundreds weekly while you sit back and do nothing. To worsen things up, you watch your foot soldiers and kinsmen such as Asari make inciting tribal, religious and divisive comments. While terrorists were busy gathering weapons and intelligence, you were busy politicizing the security threat and playing the blame game. You will agree with me that I have been generous with the negative 5 points I awarded you here as the case of security under your very close watch is the worst in the history of the Nation despite huge security vote.

3)      Power: 5 points

From my point of view, this administration is not sincere with power. Your government has not spelt out any reasonable steps (such as unbundling the sector) towards solving the power problems, the only step the government has taken towards solving it is to talk about solving it in the media in terms of Mirage Megawatts to be generated and that’s where it ends. 5 marks is just because I watched some of your paid agents on TV recently who said they now have steady power supply but as for me and majority of Nigerians, our generators have been our closest source of power supply despite huge electricity bills.

4)      Infrastructure: 0 point

There is really nothing to say here. You have scored absolute zero. The only place where infrastructure is working is on your bound books and PDF files. There is no visible FG infrastructure being put in place or maintained across the country ever since you assumed power. You have being too proud to ask the likes of Gov. Fashola to guide you on steps to fix infrastructures. If one compares what FG (through Julius Berger and RCC) is doing on Lagos/Ibadan expressway to what LASG is doing through CCECC on Ikorodu road, the conclusion will be that Jonathan’s PDP led FG is a disaster to the nation. On infrastructure you have failed woefully.

5)      Youth Development: 3 points

Do I really need to spell it out the reason why you have scored this low here I am aware that to the PDP led FG, the ages of youth range between 50 & 60 and anyone below that age is regarded as a child. Well since you came into office despite your self acclaimed work experience, youths development have never being anywhere in your plans. Like I always say, “A nation that neglects its youths neglects its future”. Under your government, Employment has become absolutely impossible. The only way to get employed is through some form of gamble or lottery as exhibited in your YOUWIN and SURE-P programs.  Your government has even made it possible to have graduates apply for driver, cleaner, cook jobs etc. My heart bleeds anytime I hear you and your aides describe the Nation’s cup victory as one of the results of your youth & sports development strategies.

Overall Score:

1

Economy
5%

2

security
-5%

3

Power
5%

4

Infrastructure
0%

5

Youth Development
3%

Total
8%

Bonus
10%

Grand Total
18%

Overall Comments: You failed woefully in the midterm assessment but can still do better over the next two years. If you continue at this pace of continuous thorough failure, you might be asked to withdraw even before the session ends in 2015. You need to sit up and get serious with the work.

Recommendations: You are advised to stay away from excessive alcohol and unholy gatherings and advisers such as Okupe, Usman, Akpabio, Asari, Clark etc. There is nothing wrong in learning from the opposition governors who have a lot of ideas. Furthermore you should stop making every Nigerian who disagrees with your non-existent policies an enemy; you should be more concerned about issues raised in the criticisms than the critics.

i know that jonathan will surely bring shame to his family, village, community, state and nigeria as a whole.
in his govt, the most effective minister(prof barth nnaji) was sacked and imbeciles like labrown maku and abati still remain in power because they are birds of a feather.
who will believe these liars called pdp?
a shameless gang or robbers. a party of ex-convicts. international accredited criminals in power.
God will surely put them to shame.

20% is the score.
Any one who scores 20% in Waec is good enough as far as mr. president scores himself high.

From your current on power it shows you are really not beign sincere. Have you bothered to read the power road map and see if it is actually been followed
