The African Peoples Congress will meet in a few days time.
The African Peoples Congress, which was denied registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has soft-pedaled, and is willing to enter negotiation with the All Progressives Congress, APC, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.

The African Peoples Congress, which had been in an acronym war with the APC, before its application for registration as a political party was rejected by the electoral body, is currently challenging its disqualification in court.
A senior member of the African Peoples Congress, allegedly linked to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, told PREMIUM TIMES that the association’s leadership met two weeks ago during which the issue was broached.
It was learnt that though no concrete decision was reached on the plan to make overtures to the merger APC, it would top the agenda of its next meeting holding in Abuja next week.

“The national executive shall meet in 10 days time to reach a final decision (on the matter). Some thorny issues could not be ironed out at the last meeting,” the member said.
Acting National Secretary of the group, Sa’id Balogun, could not confirm the development when PREMIUMTIMES spoke to him on phone.

A member of APC and former Edo State Governor, John Odigie-Oyegun, said he was not aware of the talks with the officials of the African Peoples Congress, but that the association would be ready to talk to anybody who has the interest of the country at heart.
“I am not aware if we are talking with them (African Peoples Congress). What we are doing now is putting final touches on our documents in preparation for registration in the shortest possible time,” Mr. Odigie-Oyegun told PREMIUM TIMES on phone from Benin City on Monday.
“It will be fine if they want to talk. We are ready to talk to anybody who has the interest of the nation at heart.”

PDP is planing. They have sent the junior party (rival APC) to destabilize real APC. PDP meant what they said that they give the party(APC) 2014 to scatter

This African APC spoilers should be rejected. They mean evil and likely fronting for PDP and their mandate is to destroy the mega merger, not help to build it. Beware of the Judases.
