Movement without motion.We are getting closer to Abacha's constitution which we rejected so many years ago, out of pure hatred for the man.His constitution provided for a single term of 5 years, a single national legislative house , a prime minister and deputy prime minister, in addition to president and vice president.One day our problems with the present structure will lead us there, and see who will be laughing , hottest part of hell or not.

What is the logic behind a single 6 year term, what are its merits? The logic behind two terms was that if someone was a good president they could govern for longer and bad ones would be voted out after only one term so we could given an inherent uncertainty since we are dealing with humans have better odds of guaranteeing that over many years we would on average have better leaders, what exactly is it that the committee is asking us to trade that for?
