the worst is that they are not judged by their state of residence but origin. it looks pretty unfair for kids from the same and the same score to be treated differently.

If ur from imo, anambra, abia, enugu, ogun, delta, lagos, and other states with high cutoff the most logical thing to do is to change ur state of origin to any core northern state. stop complaining and adapt to survive.

however, its still a shame that we re still doing this 53 yrs after indepence. how can we defeat boko haram when almost all d males in yobe and her sister states have shunned the little crappy chalk and slate our potbelly leaders provided.

the worst injustice I have seen in life! I lived in the north went to primary school there with the same scheme of work, curricular and teachers with the other kid from Yobe. We write the same exam under the same conditions and when the results are out, the Yobe guy just needs a score point of 2 and me from Abia must get above 130! This is pure unadulterated injustice. This is wickedness! This is wrong!

This is the problem with this country, so the kid with say 40marks from Yobe state gets admitted and that from Anambra with 120 doesn't? This is way beyond the Affirmative Action for minorities in America. Gross injustice of the highest order.

I was trying to point this out on the other thread and some Mr Katsumoto is telling me is not about Quota system... bla bla bla.

IN NIGERIA, MERIT IS SACRIFICED ON THE ALL ALTER OF QUOTA and some people still wonder why The NORTH HAVE BORN TO RULE SYNDROME.

JAMB also apply quota system when giving admission to students who wish to attend FEDERAL UNIVERSITIES.

Is that how lowly you think of Akwa-ibom? I'm happy the way they shocked you, just be ready for another surprise next year.
