The couple keeps it, i believe couples should have a place in their home to preserve there documents.it belongs to both, they should just find a position for it.Most couples keep there documents together, so the certificate should be with other documents. 1 Like |

In a lot of cases, the wife keeps it. But it shouldn't be anything to fight or fret over. |
