Some say 15, some say 25, some say 30. How many years makes a generation?

In terms of family,age & life its 25yrs but generation however varies!!we hear of 'generation of actors,footballers etc' ,depends. On when a significant changes occur

15 yrs to me defines a generation.

Some say 15, others says its 25; I think the average of the two numbers should be the right answer.

Does age really play any role in knowing one's own generation? I 'll always consider anyone still breating and can feel me to be in my genaration.
To me, age plays little or no role about this.

A human generation is about 20 years. This has been a pretty universal number for a fairly long time, though the figure may be readjusted soon due to people living longer and waiting

in the bible, i think 70 or a hundred years makes a generation, however, i havent studied this matter in depth.

people arent living longer though, to the best of my knowledge.
