Flames and tears from the recent riot at the university of uyo are still 'flaring' and flowing. According to the media, 1 student died, 45 students were arrested and investigations are still being carried out. I just copied the following from a student's facebook page. Can someone confirm.

44 students of the university of uyo were today arraigned before the uyo magistrate court on a 5 count charge of murder, arson, willful destruction of property, riotous assembly and assault.
They were paraded in a most despicable manner: some walking bare-footed, and others with just singlets and boxers. They were all made to file out together like slaves holding unto the hem of each other's shirts and boxers while dozens of combat policemen were standing watch like executioners ready to open fire as they marched in and out of the court.
I wouldn't say it was the height of indignity, but they were treated in a very indecorous and uncivilise manner.

If this is true, where is the SUG?

I just asked the student if he was there live or its hearsay; he said he was there live!
