I am still shocked that Nadal and Errani are out. This just makes this year's Wimbledon unpredictable. For the guys, I see some new kids on the block who are going to give everyone a run for their money; if people like Tsonga and Wawrinka will bring the the energy they had at Roland Garros, they will go very far. But let's watch and see how all this play out, I felt Djokovic was a bit disconnected in France, I hope he has sorted himself out if not he will be going out early as well, for Federrer, let's watch and see but I am truly hoping one of the other guys win this time around, however that will be possible I don't know. Darcis has started well, let's see how far he can go, for such a good player I wonder why he is 135 on the ATP ranking. A lot of people are speculating Murray will win, well I see him going far in the tournament but for winning I can't say, though he has home advantage (if that is of any relevance). For the ladies, I don't think there is really going to be much shift, still the top seeds roughing it up. Except someone like Serena, Azarenka or Sharapova are taken out say in the second or third rounds. I really feel that apart from the top 5 of course excluding Errani in this case, the other ladies are not ready to wage war, it is therefore very unlikely that someone other than the top 5 will claim the title but all fingers are crossed and all hands are on deck, we may just be majorly surprised. When all is said and done, I remain #TeamSerena. Whatever happens For the men, I think Wawrinka is a great player, he just needs to up his game with those his powerful serves. Tsonga isn't bad too but his shakara is too much, he is always doing fine boy on the courts instead of him to concentrate fully on the game lol. On a lighter note, abeg one of these men underwear designers should design pants specifically for Nadal, I don't think he always buys his size hence him tugging at his underwear all the time. Also abeg what is it with his nose abi he has issues with his sinuses ni? |

Re: Wimbledon 2013 by sholay2011(m): 6:05pm On Jun 26, 2013 |
Bros fredoo...I was shocked today when Ana Ivanovic first got knocked out by that wicked geh called Bouchard. Then Wozniacki and Sharapova. ...lyk Criosly? Make Serena no underrate anybody oh...but her chances to win have skyrocketed into the high heavens. |
Re: Wimbledon 2013 by fredoooooo: 7:09pm On Jun 26, 2013 |
^^^ ana is a mediocre player . The problem now is not serena , but the rate at which these players get injured. azarenka , wozniacki , sharapova , isner , tsonga , the guy that beat nadal , all injured . last year nadal or one of the male players raised an arguement on the tour , that the time difference between the french open and wimbledon is too short , and players find it very difficult to adapt to change from clay to grass . |

Re: Wimbledon 2013 by nat138: 9:30pm On Jun 26, 2013 |
Ha! Is someone seeing what I am seeing, see how all the big boys and girls are falling out like packs of cards, I knew we will be surprised at this tournament but I didn't anticipate it will be so soon. Make nothing happen to my Serena o, infant they should give her the cup for the women and compensate Britain and give Andy the cup for the men, lets close Wimbledon early this year. Haba! Wetin remain again?? Apart from Aga, Li Na or even Sloane who may put up a fight against Serena, I don't know who else will with Sharapova, Errani and Vikka out. For the men, lets see what Djokovic, Ferrer,Brands, or Almagro will bring against Murray. This is sad tho. The tournament is already getting boring. |
Re: Wimbledon 2013 by sholay2011(m): 9:41pm On Jun 26, 2013 |
About seven former world no 1 playas vacated Wimbledon today: Jankovic, Wozniacki, Sharapova, Federer, Hewitt, Ivanovic, Azarenka and so on. But many of dis playas complained about the court during their post match conferences. ...na dem sabi...Serena wont have a cause to make such complaint cos she wud win! Today has been a roller coaster. |
