Go to settings>About phone, u'll see the builder's name and and the name of custom roms ported to GiONEE E3.

Now u can customise the name with Build Prop editor tool.
*Edit your Model by locating "ro.product.model" = Change the model name to GiONEE E3 and save.

*Edit Manufacturer's name :- Locate "ro.product.manufacturer" = change to GiONEE and save.

*Edit Rom Build name:- Locate "ro.build.display.id" = Change to XPERIA HD V2 and save(assuming u are using Xperia HD).
Go back to the main menu and click on Reboot to effectively apply changes.


To download superb lots of HD themes

You have to change to some default build property value.
1. Download buildprop editor Link will be provided below this post.
2. Open the tool and look up for theme.
3. Change the value of "ro.gn.theme.net.support" 4rm no to yes and save.

Nandroid Backup:
1. Boot into CWM recovery mode.

2. Navigate to ‘backup/restore’ using Volume Down key and select using power button.

4. Swap to Harware Testing



5. Select Audio



6. Select Loudspeaker Mode



7. Here you will find Max Volume Value 128, Change this to 145 and press set.



8. You can set this value up to 160 but above 150 is not recommended else it may damage your speaker.

9. Now you can close Mobileuncle MTK Tool.

Now you can check the volume of your speaker and feel the difference.

What is a ROM?

ROM is the software that runs on the Android devices which is stored in the Read Only Memory. To classify, ROMs are of two types – Stock ROM and Custom ROM.

Stock ROM – It is provided by the manufacturer and the version varies as per the policies of the company. It also limits the access of tech savvy’s.

Custom ROM – This version is developed by a developer or hacker that enables the users to customize their applications or software, thereby improving the performance drastically.

There are both advantages and disadvantages in using custom ROMs for Android devices. Before loading custom ROMs, you need to root your android device. Rooting will help you to change your privilege from “guest” to “super user”. When you buy the device, you will be having only guest privilege since you will not be able to access all the codes as the manufacturer locks it up. It is considered as a protective measure, but the tech savvy’s are disappointed by this action as they cannot use many potential features or update it.

Advantages of using custom ROMs

1.download buildprop editor from playstore.
2.with this tool serch theme.
3.change the value of " ro.gn.theme.net.support" no to yes.and save.
4.change the value of " ro.gn.theme.style " 0 to 1 and save.
5.change the value of "ro.gn.change.support " no to yes.
6. Reboot ur device. Now u can download and edit lots of theme and wallpaper
