Do you really have to format system before fashing another rom? Because i have things stored on my phone memory that i don't want deleted. Thankss |

But the music player of this phone is crap though arrgh... I used mp3dit to change some song attributes and put the right album art but the Music player instead takes one album art and pastes it on other songs... Imagine Jay sean Patience on my Taylor Swift song |

System means your phone ROM which normally isn't accessible to you. Feel free to format it before flashing Roms as your files stored in your phones internal SD storage will not be affected |

I'm pretty dead right now. I installed that note III rom maxdozie uploaded and the extra zip file for indian firmware users and rebooted. I switched on and it was stuck on that gionee smartphone logo. I tried restoring my backup but they have md5 mismatch error. Now I'm stuck with a bricked or bootlooped (I don't know which) phone. Anything I can do? |

Finally was able to restore my backup. Just a headsup to y'all, do not rename your backup, it will keep saying md5 mismatch error. I renamed mine back to the original before it was able to restore. |
