A 75 year old man was yesterday sentenced to 21 years in prison with hard labour for raping an 8-year old girl in Dawanau area, Kano State. While the offender did not show any remorse for his action, the judge said this sentence will serve a deterrent to other potential rapist. He however warned parents to always be watchful of their wards. |
