Lordave: I would be the biggest fool in the world if I hadn't supported Samba boys.

Brazil was very nice to Nigeria. Despite the foolishness of Ideye flopibility of Gambo, they supported us against Spain until 90mins even after the match.

What more could I have done than to reciprocate their friendliness.

Correct jare wink
I like Spain since I support FCB, but I can only support one national team in a tournament where my nation is competing wink

Krasid: 22nd in the world thrashed number 1.FIFA ranking is absolute rubbish.

Duh, that's like saying because you came first in one test means the best overall student is a phony. Haven't you heard of cumulative scores? I'm guessing Tyson Gay is now the world's fastest man.

If barca gets 2 top CBs, eg Luiz, Silva, a top striker in the mould of Eto'o, pull Messi towards the right but still give him freedom and begin Xavi's replacement, anything can happen.

J12: I was telling someone the other day that the 2002 Brazil world cup squad would tear this Spanish team apart. You've all seen it yourselves and to add salt to injury, the Brazillian team of 2002 was way better than this confeds team.
Spain are nothing but lucky world champions, their lucky streak just ended

Damn! I feel nostalgic remembering that team - cafu, ronaldo, rivaldo, denilson, kleberson, young ronaldinho

Damn! I miss ronaldinho so much

Afam4eva: Brazil should not delude themselves that by beating Spain, they're the best in the world. This is just the confederation cup played on their own turn, so home advantage came handy and actually contributed a great deal to them winning this match. I think they will be humbled next year at the world cup proper. As for Spain, they're not different from Barcelona. They can annihilate any team in the world but when they get beaten, they also get annihilated and find it difficult even scoring a goal. Though i still tip them to win the world cup next year. Brazil doesn't even make it to my top 5 favorite teams to lift the trophy next year. My list includes Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Uruguay.

Most sensible post ever!!!
Won confederations cup and Luiz praying as if he just won the world cup
Germany or Netherland will yank this Brazilian team

Portugal and Uruguay? grin grin

Both teams won't go past the 2nd round - and that's if they can make it to the world cup. ;

Support the German machine.

Ever exciting Dutch.

The 3 Lions of England.

The jogo bonito samba boys of Brazil.

Messi + Aguero and the gang, from the only man with the hand-of-God's country!!

Don't downplay the importance of this match and the tournament. I presume you didn't watch the match.
Also remember that The home advantage continues next year during the world cup.

Favorites for the 2014 WC still remain Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Argentina and Netherlands.

Spain is still the best team in the world and losing to Brazil today doesn't count for sh1t. Tell me any team that has gone over 20 games unbeaten. There's only one spain in the world. The only teams that can give Spain problems next year is Germany and Portugal. Italy were even lucky to go into penalties with Spain in the semis.
