I have read the thread but i could not find any hospital or doctor name. Pls if you have any i will appreciate your assistance, my wife got denied yesterday for USA but still reapplying and why we do that if there is any assistance you can give regarding Canada

Do i need Doctor correspondence for Canada?

Baba, haba! And you have read the thread? Might come across as rude, forgive my manners, and be fair to us on this thread sir. I bet you, it will pay you/DW massively if you would give this weekend to reading this thread from page 0 to current page. Spoonfeeding doesn't even pay on this situation too.

Wifey landed in Montreal was a breeze. Only one questions asked; can't remember the exact question word used.

"Why / what are you doing in Canada?".

We will update as we progress with the missionary journey.

We are here initially on vacation together and i will leave in a couple weeks but my wife will stay onwards to have our baby. I don't know if it helps that I reside in the USA. No questions asked regarding funds or any other things. Used automated passport control and was directed by a caucasian lady to border agent who is asian-like and normally i'm not happy dealing with asian-like agents.

P.S. Border agent did joke though as to what wifey brought for him. lol.

Amen God bless us all in the hustle. Yes I think I will agree with you on the turnaround as I applied for my dad not too long ago and entire process took 5 days. Hopefully she can do it fast.

Hello Hajidel, did you apply online or paper route for your dad that took only five days?

I believe this will be with regards to using Dr Ayodele? Well had my medical checks done at his office. I got in at 7 months so took my report from Nigeria but he still asked me to go redo tests . I was very shocked to discover I wasn't the blood group I always thought I was. Anyway fast forward there were always patients at his office though. You pay for registration and some other fees so they register you at the hospital but you make all other payments related to hospital at the hospital except his dr's fees.
I had my baby at Brampton civic hospital where he works. He was on duty when I got to the triage so he checked me et al and admitted me however his shift ended so I was attended to by another dr, Dr Lee.
However the money paid to Ayodele covers one post partum visit and I was happy cos I had to get antibiotics cos my cs stitches weren't healing well. But overall satisfactory experience.
If you have other questions, I'll be happy to help.

Wife and I both have US and Canadian visa. We had our first baby in US 2014 and want to know what the costs are like in Alberta canada. The hospital we used back then is so expensive now. What do you guys think?

Alright, can you please put me through so i can go birth there too if you dont mind? Thank you

POE
I flew in through US (spent a week there), so I was only asked how long I was staying - wore winter jacket so I don't know if they saw my tommy.

Accommodation/transportation/feeding
I stayed with family so I have no idea about rent.

Dr's fee
$2500 - includes test, antenatal, delivery

Hospital (Lakeridge Health, Oshawa)
2500 - mother
700 - baby

Well Baby
$157 (2days after birth)
Didn't need hearing test as my baby was already reacting to sounds smiley

Birth certificate
Applied same day baby came and received it via mail after 5 working days.

Passport/travel certificate
Applied for expedited at Whitby and picked up 4 working days later.
Posted request for travel certificate same day I submitted passport and got it in the mail in 2 working days.
