A Special Christian Interdenominational Prayer
Service in honour of the Late Abibat Mogaji,
mother of the former Lagos State Governor,
Bola Tinubu, will hold on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at
the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotel, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
The event is schedule to
begin at 3pm.
Alhaja Mogaji, 96, died on Saturday, June 15 at
her residence, 10, Sunday Adigun, Ikeja, Lagos at
about 6pm.
The question is....... As muslims was this necessary,is it another political parade, or are they simply thanking God for a life well spent. I will leave that to nairalanders !

While it is the simple truth that Christians have NO BIBLICAL BASIS for praying for the dead, we may not rule out the fact that a funeral crowd is still one of the best crowds a preacher can hope for. Some pastor could still accept to come there and direct his message to the living who still have a chance to repent and serve God. Should we then condemn such a pastor as being motivated by love of money?

This is a sad reflection of people's religious understanding of Lagosians and Yoruba people in general. Most families in Yorubaland are religiously mixed just like Tinubu himself and his wife, just like Fashola and his wife so what's the big deal apart from you either trying to tell us that you are another Tinubu lover and infatuated with Tinubu or just that you are religiously ignorant and intolerant?
