ABUTH Nurses Commence An Indefinite Strike by kourhage: 7:08am On Jul 09, 2013
The Nurses in ahmadu Bello University teaching hospital Zaria commenced and indefinite strike yesterday over the non implementation of the court judgement.
Their greviances are as follows:
IAP award
Non skiping of conhess 10
Rural posting allowance
28days in leiu of accommodation for newly employed nurses.
Multiple numenclature such as nursing sister for male nurses.
Lack of working materials.

The impact of the strike is already been felt by the patients and the hospital management as Mortality rate had increased, and the patients on admission unadttended to as Doctors opt not to engage in task that are not directly theirs.
