Insane: Woman Locks Her Family Indoors, Sets the House On Fire


The incident reportedly occurred in Dutse the Baupma, Abuja on Friday, July 5, around 3 a.m. when her family members were asleep.
The motives of an elderly woman to lock her husband and five children in the house and douse it ablaze with petrol are still unclear.
Eyewitnesses at the scene of the incident managed to break into the house which was locked up to rescue the family before they could suffocate.
The lady, however, took to her heels upon noticing they were safe. Her attempt to escape failed as she was later apprehended and handed over to the police in Dutse Makaranta.
Blame it on witchcraft or spiritual problems, one thing is for sure, she needs to be straitjacketed for some sort of psychotic evaluation.
