4 Play: Al Mustapha for Governor of Kano State in 2015! Not far-fetched when Buhari who is mooted as the next President is an ex-coupist with blood on his hands, not to mention the collection of cultists, drug dealers and money launderers like GEJ's logorrheic wife involved in politics. Al-Mustapha has enough murderous and criminal inclinations to become a major political player.

Al mustapha's release was orchestrated by the presidency and i believe an agreement was reached between him and Gej, the plan was simply to pacify the north and cause confusion in APC the brain child of buhari and tinubu, afenifere have already comdemnd the judgement its just a matter of time before it creeps into the party, i will not be suprise also if al mustapha runs for elective posts under PDP...in nigeria anything is possible!!

malele: Seriously I don't understand youroba people, how can OPC be guarding mustapha nawah ooo. This is like MASSOB guarding black scorpion after killing igbos. Can any youroba explain this OPC attitude .
OPC's leadership is now a tug-of-war between Dr. Frederick Faseun and Gani Adams. Lately, the Faseun faction has been rubbing shoulders with Jpnathan's administration. If you recall, not too long ago, Jonathan gave a multibillion naira contract to Faseun's OPC to "safeguard" the oil pipeline. From every indication, al-Mustapha's acquittal had the coloration of Jonathan's scheming. al-Mustapha is still very popular in the core North, if he throws his support behind Jonathan it will be hard for Buhari, Atiku, Babangida, El Rufai, Ribadu, and etc who may want to oppose Jonathan in the area. Jonathan is using him to create friction ahead of the 2015 political showdown - the same way he's using Faseun to destabilize our own Western region. All is evil machination and orchestration come 2015. And folks call this fedora-wearing gorilla retardeen? He may be freaking ugly but not stu.pid.

Hamza Al-Mustapha returned to a hero's
welcome in Kano, complete with an airport
reception, an open-jeep convoy to
Government House, our man waving to the
crowd like a returnee founding father of
Nigeria. Even Boko Haram, which had not
hesitated to attack the Emir in the past,
respectfully observed the Al-Mustapha day in
Kano. Of course the show would not be
complete if he didn't say he has forgiven us.
Unlike George Zimmerman's punks who
always get away, the punks of Nigeria always
return from prison to forgive those they stole
from - or the surviving relatives of patriots
they assassinated. Before him, Alamsco
returned to a hero's welcome and also
forgave us. Tafa Balogun returned to a hero's
welcome and forgave us. Bode George
returned to a gigantic hero's welcome and
forgave us. Back in the day, the best of the
best among us used to return to a hero's
welcome from international triumphs in their
respective areas of accomplishment -
sportsmen and women, technocrats,
intellectuals, etc. The contingent to the 1984
Olympics returned to a hero's welcome.
Soyinka returned from Stockholm to a hero's
welcome in 1986. Now we have produced
almost two generations of Nigerians for
whom the very idea of a hero's welcome is
nothing more than the owambe spectacle of
criminals returning from prison to become
political players and shapers of public
opinion, feted in Government Houses by
imbeciles misusing the apparatuses of state.
At this rate, when Ibori is done paying his
debt to the Queen of England, I foresee a
presidential plane being dispatched to
London to fetch him from the Queen's prison.
I foresee a state reception in Abuja. I foresee
him subsequently entering Oghara on a
donkey requisitioned for the occasion, with
hundreds of thousands of youths waving
palm fronds and singing hosanna in the
highest. Ibori will forgive Nigerians and tell us
to go and sin no more. Lets not kid ourselves
by saying that these sordid spectacles are a
reflection of the punks in the ruling class. Let
us stop Pyrrhic and escapist explanations,
saying that the returnee criminals rent the
crowds. It no longer washes. These spectacles
are a reflection of us. Let us just say that we
have no desire or are not ready to end it.
Anway sha, I thank Hamza Al-Mustapha for
being so magnanimous as to forgive us. Allah
be praised.

The connection is that Yorubas will always do the bidding of the northerners. Mustapha was in lagos kirikiri prison for the past 14 years and Yorubas didn't do anything to him even when Obasanjo was in power. Today appeal court have set the brilliant and gallant soldier free, they are making so much noise as usual, just like when Abiola was killed too.
What did you want the Yoruba to do to al-Mustapha while in prison? Poison him or beat him to death? Nope, we're classier than that. That's what the Eastern savages would do; Yoruba are not cannibals and Neanderthals like your people - we follow and believe in the rule of law. The more reason why it is globally acknowledged that the Yoruba people are the most sophisticated in the whole of Africa. The rest are nothing but cave-dwelling cannibals.

Word.
This problem is actually between the North and the East. From history, you would not find a single outcast/omo ale from Yorubaland that was given a rousing welcome or whatever. We're known for not rewarding our criminal sons and daughters - rather we shunned them and forced them into obscurity. Chief Adisa Akinloye and Richard Akinjide remain ignobly hated by all and sundry. When we heard the news of Akinloye's involvement in a ghastly auto accident in London, England, the whole of Ibadan was thrown into a party mood; all the women of Ibadan were dancing and jubilating. Though Akinloye luckily survived the accident, and later returned home to a hardknocked hatred by his own Ibadan brethren till he died. Richard Akinjide and Alao Arisekola are hated seriously in Ibadan and across Yorubaland. General Oladipo Diya can't even walk freely in Yorubaland without being jeered and sneered. Olusegun Obasanjo came out of prison and was met with a bileful of hostility by the Yoruba people. We didn't even vote for him. And he remains yet unpopular among Yoruba folks even with his two-term reigns as Nigeria's President. Remember how long it took us to forgive MKO Abiola when he became Awolowo's worst nightmare. We still regard the likes of Remi Fani Kayode (that bastard Femi's father) and Samuel Oladoke Akintola as two-faced traitors and outcasts. Shonekan of the discredited ING is still walking around in shame. These are our sons (dead and alive), however, while their sins and culpability lasted we shunned, cursed, and disowned them. Yes, they're all Yoruba, but became reprobates when they erred. We did not reward them. They remain in our bad book.
The same cannot be said about our brethren in the North and the East. Umaru Dikko, Uba Ahmed, Alhaji Alhaji, Sheu Shagari, Babangida, Abdul-Salam and the rest of the thieves from the North were absorbed back into their clannish Hausa/Fulani enclaves. I am sure if General Bisala, Col. Buka Suka Dimka, Abacha and other dead bastards from the North were to rise up today they would be given a rousing and heroic welcome by their Hausa/Fulani hero worshippers! Look at Babangida- the bastard still walks with his shoulders high without disdain or molestation by his people.
The Easterners are the worst. Ojukoju who masterminded their annihilation via a stupid war of attrition was given a heroic welcome when he came back from his self-imposed exile. They even dashed him a chieftaincy title, "Ikemba." Arthur Nzeribe's antics would have, over the years, won him a place at the shooting range or the guillotine or hangman's noose in Yorubaland; however, the criminal remains a hero in the East. Look at Ibori, Alameyeisiagha, Asari Dokubo, Akpamgbo, Chukwumerije, and the rest of the Eastern thieves and gang bangers - they remain heros among their people. This is NIGERIA.

Anytin that fails to be in favor of the yorubas/hausas/fulanis is GEJ doing, was that how SS pple disturb yorubas ehen OBJ was there.
I can understand it when fulani hausas fight Gej atleast they see gej as stolen their presidential turn. But what has gej done to yorubas?

Since yorubas lost the seat of house of asembly chairman they see gej as enemy, while the lost was as a result of obj vs tinubu war of supremacy.
We learnt in this nation the attitude of every tribal groups. To me and to other nigerian we hardly trust the word of yorubas ,not for insults but sincerely.

If yorubas eventualy votes for gej come 2015 mark my word the fulanis/hausas will never i mean never trust yorubas again and they will send 3 million almajiris from kano to kwara.

Onething is clear abt fulanis "they have no forgiveness and must pay back in due time".

I blv the best thing for yorubas is to desist from fulani relationship no matter what, those fulanis are not wort to be friends to anybody.

Personally i would have liked it more if he remained in prison, but the law had to take its due course and i think this is a plus for democracy. I remember clearly on a cold august morning this same Almustapha led his men to arrest my uncle on grounds of treason and after a kangaroo court trial he was sentenced to life imprisonment but got out in 98 during Gen Abdulsalamis regime. Let karma roll her dice!
