Is Russian president Vladimir Putin assaulting free speech or protecting traditions of the country? In June, he passed two laws - the first banning gay propaganda and the second a blasphemy law providing up to one year in prison for "insult
to religious feelings". International human rights groups have raised concerns about what they view as an increasingly restrictive government. Supporters claim the wishes of the majority are being met. So, what really is the state of freedom of expression in Russia today?

Well, this is a good decision i ever see. People must have to learn to respect oppositie beliefs.

I am off the opinion that the only way to maintain sanity in a world where we are continuously sinking into the abyss of self destruction is to define what is generally acceptable (Yes! to the majority) and stick to it.
there is no way you can please every single member of a society. To preserve our world/communities we allhave to sacrifice something. its the stupidit:y of listening to everybody (both the seemingly sane but actually insane), that is turning the world into something else.

I am in support of putin's policies!!!
