The masses has to be kept distracted from the real Issues like The Further Devaluation of our currency, The Embezzlement of our public funds, the insecurity that pervades the nation with Boko Haram,Kidnappers, armed Robbers, assassinations etc, the increasing debt of our nation, and the enormous debts being accumulated by the states, the inconspicuous sell off the national assets.

The Masses has to be given something to divide them, to fight about, to make them feel like they belong, to give them the false assumption that they also had a say in the government.

To the Real Architects of this chaos: the tribal, religious and idealist fault lines has to be deepened and the groups and reactionaries clearly carved out because the whole endgame/goal is going to be built along those fault lines which are now being prepared.

It is all part of their plan. Pity we are falling for it

The gay marriage is an issue involving local gay support groups and international groups hellbent on challenging longstanding cultural norms in 3rd world countries. There has not been much support from anyone (particularly public figures) for that.

However, child marriage, backed by Moslems abi muslims primarily from the Sharialand states, brought again into focus, the role of religion in our society, as well as the regional lopsidedness the North continues to enjoy at the center, therefore causing many people ( including public figures) to engage in the debate. It has also exposed the fact that our legislooters are also rogues like the NGF members that were displaying on Youtube.

So frankly, the latter bill, is at the center of all the problems we have in the country.
