Benefits Of Wisdom (13) by SonofIssachar: 1:18am On Jul 26, 2013
“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge and discretion. By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.” - Proverbs 8:12, 15

Wisdom indeed has many benefits, some of which we have been meditating on for some time now (please read some of the previous benefits on our website). One of the benefits of wisdom is effective leadership and administration of justice. Wisdom makes a great leader and an equitable judge. Anyone can occupy a position of leadership and administer justice to people, among other functions of the office. But it is only the wise person who will stand out as a leader or manager of men. Wisdom separates leaders from leaders. Anyone can rule, but not all rulers reign. It takes wisdom to reign in a position of leadership. Wisdom is also required to administer sound justice.

Administering justice doesn’t end at judicial matters and mediating disputes alone. It also includes having foresight and analytical skills toward exercising astute sense of judgement in appraising situations, making decisions and the execution process. Wisdom is significantly required to make the right call in all of these and not blunder through them.

It is difficult to find a wise leader who is a tyrant. The absence of wisdom is what makes tyranny. It takes wisdom to engage people in an atmosphere of cooperation to achieve desired results, rather than arm-twist them into it. It takes wisdom to manage the issues that are peculiar to people and still guide them toward achieving common goals, rather than ignoring their sensibilities and riding roughshod over them to get results.

Many people rule, but few reign. Wisdom is what separates those who reign from those who rule.

You will succeed in Jesus Name!
