I was in my room when this set of armed robbers came into my hostel @ about 8:45pm on 4th of may. They were up to ten dat came into our hostel dat fateful day, they grouped themselves into like four groups, some mounted d entrances, ...

.... while some other groups enter each room in my hostel. Fortunately for them, but very unfortunately for me, i was watching movie with some other two cotenants in my room with my door left ajar, so it was each for them to enter my room.....

With cool iron 'irin tutu' pointed @me, they search d nookies & crannies of my room, after carrying my laptop, with which we're using 2 watch movie. They made away with my 2 other phones & another phone belonging 2 one of d cotenants with me in room.

Dey also carried my school bag which has d laptop charge in, cos i just came back from cafe dat very nite. After their departure, we reported the case @d nearest police division dat fateful nite, but dey told us to come d following day to pen down...

... our statement, which we did. god so good, i returned from school on wednesday, when i heard d report dat some set of armed robbers dat attacked my area was arrested while trying to sell d stolen items. i reported myself @ d police station,....

...to check if dey were d same set of robbers dat attacked us. Fortunately, dey were, cos i can identified one of my stolen phones, out of numerous phones which i can't guess d number. D officer-in-charge of d case asked me to inked my statement,...

after d writing of statement, i exchanged no with d officer,so dat he can give me d updates. i returned 2d station d followingweek 2 check if dey were able 2arrest d person with my laptop, cos dey told me dat d guy with my laptop hasn't been arrested

... but i was told d guy has escaped, so i left. Somedays later, i called d officer, he told me dat d case has been charged to court and dat they were waiting for d court to give them trial date. But since dat day i've been calling d officer, ....

... his response remained d same. Dis now give me d concern dat may be these police has retrieved d laptop &are not ready to return it to me.Dis, i can't come up with d answer. I'm so disturbed &confused, i don't know d next step of action to take...

dat's y i brought it here for u people with great wisdom to give me advice on wat to do next. Should i forget it? Should i get an advocate, which will still required some money to get? Should confront the police, dat dey should returned my system?...

... which i know might be dangerous, cos these people 'police' are very wicked set of people. & if i go confront them, they might kill one, cos dis not their first time they will kill d people they are suppose to be protecting. Pls! i need ur advice.
