To get rid of the annoying sound, download ringtone maker from playstore and use it to cut out the part of any song you want to use. Then rename it to bootaudio.mp3 do the same process for the shutaudio.mp3. Then make use of any root explorer(es file explorer my favorite) to access the root folder-> system-> media, then paste the mp3 you've "cooked " here. note that you must have changed the permission from w/o to w/r. Also you need to move the default mp3s in the folder to another folder

it depends on the root explorer you're using, eg. if you're using es file explorer, follow the images below:
options-> root explorer-> mount RW

Whereas, if you're using "root browser" instead of "es file explorer" it's another ball game entirely. check out the pictures below, BTW, root browser is the easiest to use for this mission.
