From the saying above,is it impossible for the rich to be truly religious or make the kingdom of God?.What is the essence of being rich when you are not truly religious?.Your opinion please.

There are two kinds of rich men. Those who are rich unto God and those who are rich unto themselves. The people that have issues in this context are those who are rich unto themselves only . They don't share their wealth . So they are Gods enemy . But the man who shares is Gods friend .

Luke 12:20-21
But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

So God is not against christian prosperity but he is against greed

OP, it is possible. Jesus did not say it is impossible, His statement implied that it would be difficult and not impossible.

Might I add sir, there are two kinds of rich people according to Jeremaih 17 from verse 5

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.
They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD

Trust in the lord n do he's principles...you will surely be rich. He does wants us to prosper, because he makes boast with us. It is possible to be very rich and with christ...abraham, isaac, job, solomon, etc are examples

But if we do any thing wrong, no matter how small, just so that we'd get rich, you see their end, no matter how long, in time they'd crash....and funny enough,they are even making those riches for we dat are in christ

Proverbs 13:22 says, A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and goodness] to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up. " (Amplified)

if you are a real christian it is impossible to be rich. why ? there are too many poor people around. if you are rich, then you are not a true follower of christ cuz that means you are hoarding and not distributing. >>>

1 timothy 6 vs 17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute <<<< charge the rich to be ready to distribute their wealth. so it is impossible to be rich if you are a true follower of christ.

pls forget not that poverty is not in the original plan of creation. poverty is one of the consequential effect of the fall. so, it is easier for you as a prosperous christian to make heaven is you really understand what redemption is all about.
