I'm not a sex addict..I've come to realise that I've come to realise that I've got a huge sexual appetite...

I'm born-again now, so I'm defiinitely against pre-marital sex but the pressure is just too much now..

I've only dated 2guys and they all said I'm not normal...that my sexual drive is too high for a female...I don't sleep around because despite my problems , I've got strong morals..

Last year, I once had a pregnancy scare but even at that the pressurre was still constant.

I used to masturbate a lot but at this point of my life, I'm not sure if Masturbation is right before God..

Is there any way this can be controlled?
Are there females out there like me?

Forr those of you who might think I must have done several abortions, I can state firmly that I have not done any. It's not because I was too careful or too wise but I believe it was just GOD's Grace....

I visited a counsellor once with my ex and after much discussions, he advised me to go for some fertility tests, I did that and they said I was fine...he also told me to ensure I get married early...I'm still in my early 20's...

First point to note, Do not jump into marriage because of high libido. If you patiently and diligently find someone you are ok with to marry, its all good but never let your drive be the reason you rush to marriage.

The early-mid 20's is a common age to have an increased libido as mother nature makes your body clock tick louder in an attempt to make you breed - It is likely to pass or fade in a couple of years... Not much you can do in the meantime but masturbating is likely to provide only temporary relief and will result in the requirement to masturbate more which eats deep into the fabric of your soul and sets in guilty conscience at every time you engage in it.

Your increased sex drive comes from the most important of the sex organs - the brain... It is the brain that has instructed your various glands and organs to produce the chemicals that make you feel the way you do and the only antidote apart from lots of sex and ultimately pregnancy, is to distract it from its purpose... You can accomplish this by frequent exercise, going out to mix with people whenever the surge arises, occupying yourself with something productive (an idle hand is the devil's factory), never put yourself in a lonely situation that may trigger the urge. Do away with books, movies and scenes filled with sexual fantasy. They only get stored in your sub-conscious to haunt you later. These may never be 100% effective but burying yourself in absorbing and exhausting hobbies and interests will make it easier for you and in time your body will adjust its need to the supply...

Going religious, it is good that you have made a deliberate attempt to change your ways. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. This will help you in the time of weakness to be strong. Feed your spirit with the word of God always and read other spiritual books. It is time to also pray the more. It is going to be a long path to victory but you will overcome in the end. Always keep this scripture in your heart at every moment "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ..." 2Cor 10:4-5.

It is well with you and the Lord will grant you the grace to pull through..

There is nothing wrong with u. U are perfectly normal. Some people have high libido, some don't. Just make sure u find someone who matches your libido type for marriage and u will be just fine. In the mean time, u have to distract yourself. Get busy. Pick on new hobbies, socialise with people, join organisations in church (assuming u are a Christian) and u will notice the frequency of the urge will reduce.

U are very normal my dear. Some have it high, some have it normal and some have it low, everyone is created differently. Thank goodness u ain't promiscuous. Get ur self lots of intimacy gadgets and satisfy yourself as much as u want. When u get marred be reasonable enough to know that hubby my not be able to keep up, therefore u might still need to supplement with your toys. Don't let anyone ever make u believe u are abnormal.
Meanwhile discuss ur type of drive with ur future hubby. Some men are reasonable enough to know that their wife might need her intimacy gadgets to keep up with her high sex drive.

No where in your post did I see you mention anything about adoption.

You mentioned abortion in your earlier post! You boasted that you were lucky enough not to get pregnant and be faced with that option! So by inference, you most certainly would have gone down that route if you fell into that situation, else, why mention abortion??

If she calls herself a born again Christian, then she shouldn't have any qualms living by the rules of the religion she chooses, should she? Why steal from Peter to pay Paul? Or why serve two masters? She's either in or out, not stuck between.

And if you feel my reasoning along the religious lines she's chosen to live by, or rather claims to abide by, interprets as 'judging' her then so be it. That's your opinion and your entitled to it!

My dear,you jst need to understand yourself and ur system.its the differences we get from nature,we are not all the same.what will damn ur soul is not ur genetic makeup,but u not being frank about it.l ve the same problem with u and even more than u(and am happy to read ur post) and I sought advice from my elderly friends,l discovered its my makeup,cos l thought l was possessed.l also discovered dat it runs in my family,with various example To show that.one of my friends asked me what do l think st paul was saying when he said he has an infirmity which refuse to depart.Alas,my friend thinks it high sexual urge,not a disease,that's why God told him that his grace is sufficiant for him,cos his gene cannot be healed or changed.so my dear,jst understand urself,and be frank about it by doing ur best and depending on Gods grace.it will surely solve itself soon.Give a thought abt marriage,if u think you can't hold on any longer,its not bad if u look well before u leap into marriage.
