The Maasai never really had no real enemy or challenge like the Zulus did with the Ndwandwe.

Combat is a couple boys throwing spears or chasing wild animals.

The Maasai are just rich in their culture but we might see that degrading in the next decades.

I think what Henry120 meant was that, people in the west generally have this impression that Aficans have no cities, and if they have, its nothing but a bunch of mud houses with lions roaming around the streets and its survival for the fittest for every animal (including humans). And videos like these sort of confirms what they had been thinking all along. Until we become relevant and respected as equals in this modern times (where technology and innovation determines who remains at the center stage and rule the world), these stories will only remain with us, Africa has to make its own new stroryline and stop living in the past of the great days.(we are the 2nd largest and 2nd most populous continent on earth yet we still dont have at least one permanent member at the UN security council up to date.

About that masaai knife, my dad keeps one below his car seat, he has been given multiple warnings by police not carry it but he has never stopped,my mum hates the knife, she once took it and hid it, I just enjoy the drama. the knife is more than 30years but have never worn off!
