Ladies and gents, I present to you the very first immersive feature story on an SANDF Exercise. Glad to see someone at Def. Communications has finally realised the media can be a great ally.

SA Pathfinders fulfill exactly the same function as British Pathfinders.

Yeah

44 Pathfinder Platoon is a specialised reconnaisance unit within 44 Parachute Regiment, trained to be deployed covertly ahead of the Paras, often behind enemy lines in small teams. Their tasks include intelligence gathering, marking out drop zones and helicopter landing sites for use by the Regiment.
Selection into the Paras is already tough enough, but Paras wishing to join Pathfinder Platoon undergo an even more rigorous Selection.

I love this Ops-core FAST helmet. I remember seeing it for the first time in 2013. Our Navy Special forces wore them for the African winds military exercise.

Guess these HELO's are just in reserve, not bring seeing them around except for these particular picture.

I don't no where your bland "Nope" is coming from. Do you not know what tasks they perform?
