SA doesn’t have a production line for MK7 and MK7x??
No. Denel decided to consolidate on the RG31, and Reumech licenced Mamba production to others, when it got out of the vehicle business.

These instagram filters hurt my eyes. cool

Do you want the photographer to be paid? grin if he submits clean pictures without filters, the officials won't like them and they would call him lazy, so he has to add a bit of gloss to them, and boom he gets paid grin

There can't be more than a handful of Cheetahs left. They recently sold 12 to Draken, for the US Air Force aggressor program.

You'd have more luck buying IP, as the turnaround strategy calls for them to sell IP for systems SA doesn't have funds to produce. The sticking point seems to be who the money goes to, Denel or Armscor. And the relevant minister, Gordhan, seems to be in no hurry to resolve the impasse.

Evacuation is quite Risky though, heard a French evacuation convoy was attacked.

The people being evacuated by Nigerians are mostly students.
You know the silly thing, the US government is the one who brokered the ceasefire that other countries are making use of to evacuate their citizens.

It's like cooking a large meal for others alone, while you yourself are hungry grin

America is really dropping the ball on citizen evacuation from unstable countries, Afghanistan and now Sudan.

In Afghanistan, everyone who initially wanted to leave, was evacuated. Some ignored and stayed back, now they want to leave. Afghan was different.

In Sudan, there was just a complete lack of interest to do a government coordinated evacuation. They felt that Americans were not necessarily in danger so no point. Right now, Saudi Arabia is the one conducting ship evacuations on behalf of the US government.

Simply put, the modern America will not put soldiers anymore into conflict zones it has no business with. This is why you don't see US personnel doing peacekeeping missions.

A "giant of Africa" must ALWAYS have a functional and dynamic diplomacy. Especially with a country that has been a passage for Nigerians travelling to mecca for 300years & thousands of Nigerian students.
Every European country can land in Sudan and pick up their citizens but the "giant" cannot?
Nigeria is next door to sudan after Chad; how is that far?

Nigeria salvaging chad & Niger😆 lol lol You must have been on holiday these past 13 years buddy...
Benin is supposed to be Nigeria's 37th state. If u can't quench a fast developing Jihadi problem next door, then u deserve whatever conflict that spills over into your country.

Nigeria's problem is corruption and gross incompetence...simple

You have a point, but my point still stands; we have our hands full with chad and Niger which is quite large in landmass and due to our police incompetence, our army is strained with local checkpoints etc. on Sudan, I don't know our reasons but they had to take them to Saudi and evacuate them. On Kenya, it bordered Sudan before they cut into two; so they had some extent of diplomatic relations with them. Then the west, they have an arsenal of bases in Djibouti not considering chad and Niger etc that are french colonies from a pov
